How to use Lanüa
Lanüa can be used when planting, transplanting or conditioning the soil of plants, vegetable gardens, flowerbeds and gardens.
It is made with 100% processed Chilean sheep's wool, without additives. It helps retain moisture, improve soil aeration, and provide slow-release nutrients to the root zone.
1. When planting or transplanting
Apply Lanüa directly into the planting hole.
Use 1/4 cup per plant as a reference, approx. 40 g .
Then install the plant, fill with soil, gently firm it down, and activate it with water.
For small plants, use 2 tablespoons , approx. 18 g .
For shrubs, young fruit trees or larger plants, use 1/2 to 1 cup , approx. 75 to 150 g .
2. In flowerpots and containers
Use Lanüa according to the approximate diameter of the flowerpot.
| Flowerpot size | Indicative dosage |
|---|---|
| Up to 15 cm | 2 tablespoons, approx. 18 g |
| More than 15 cm and up to 30 cm | 1/2 cup, approx. 75 g |
| From 30 cm | 1 cup, approx. 150 g |
Mix Lanüa with the soil when planting or transplanting.
For established plants, gently incorporate it into the top layer of the substrate, taking care not to damage the roots. Then activate with water.
3. When preparing substrate
Add 1 cup of Lanüa for every 10 liters of soil or substrate , approx. 150 g .
Mix well before planting or transplanting.
4. In vegetable gardens, flowerbeds or flower beds
Apply 1 cup per m² , approx. 150 g/m² .
Incorporate Lanüa into the first few centimeters of soil and activate with water.
5. In vegetables
| Type of crop | Examples | Indicative dosage |
| Leafy vegetables and herbs | Lettuce, spinach, cilantro, parsley, basil | 1/2 cup per m², approx. 75 g/m² |
| General vegetables | Carrot, onion, potato, cucumber, zucchini | 3/4 cup per m², approx. 110 g/m² |
| Vegetables with greater development | Tomato, pepper, eggplant, broccoli, cauliflower, cabbage | 1 cup per m², approx. 150 g/m² |
Incorporate Lanüa into the soil before planting or around established plants. Then activate with water.
6. In fruit trees, berries and shrubs
| Plant type | Indicative dosage |
| Berries, shrubs or small fruit trees | 1 cup per plant, approx. 150 g |
| Medium-sized fruit trees | 2 cups per tree, approx. 300 g |
Apply around the root zone, work it in superficially and activate with water.
7. In reforestation or plantations
Use 40g of Lanüa per plant as a reference, equivalent to 1/4 cup .
Apply directly to the hole, install the plant, cover with soil and activate with water according to the project management.
8. As surface coverage or mulch
Spread a thin, even layer over the ground.
Activate with water after applying.
Practical Equivalencies

| 1 tablespoon | 9 g |
| 2 tablespoons | 18 g |
| 1/4 cup | 40 g |

Important note
The doses are guidelines and the weights are approximate, since Lanüa is a natural product and its density may vary.
Adjust the amount according to species, plant size, pot volume, soil or substrate type, climate, and irrigation management.
Lanüa does not replace irrigation or other sources of nutrients when the crop requires them.
